CCroad® granules are scattered on gravel roads in early spring. The most suitable time for this is right after the snow melts, when the air temperature stays above zero and there is no more frost expected at night. During this time, the road surface is still sufficiently moist for the calcium chloride granules to dissolve quickly. By scattering the granules, a complete dust binding is ensured in a short time, which usually lasts throughout the summer. Just like on road surfaces, CCroad® is an ideal solution for dust prevention on racecourses, parks, motocross and autocross tracks, sports fields, etc.

CCroad® granules are scattered using a spreader, similar to those used by road services, or with a mineral fertilizer spreader, or in small areas - manually. Usually, the best and most economical way is to mix the granules into the surface layer of the road during grading and leveling. After scattering CCroad®, the road surface should be leveled with a grader and compacted with a roller. If necessary, the road surface treatment can be repeated using a smaller amount of calcium chloride. Usually, such additional treatment is only necessary during long dry periods in the summer. For professional road maintainers, CCroad® is also offered in a water solution delivered in tankers.
