Fibo Effect ceramic blocks with tongue and groove connection, 3MPa - The well-known Fibo standard block in Latvia and the Nordic countries has acquired a more contemporary form and has become the Fibo Effect block. Innovative improvements have given the block new, effective properties, while maintaining the excellent suitability of ceramic concrete for our changing climatic conditions. The structural changes to the block now allow Fibo to be built faster, more accurately and more economically, achieving maximum Fibo effect!

Installation:

Just like with Fibo standard blocks, the most suitable mortar for building with Fibo Effect is Weber M100/600. When building in cold weather, Weber M100/600 winter mortar should be used, which is designed for construction up to -100C.

To avoid cracking, the Fibo Effect masonry must be reinforced in a similar way to the reinforcement of Fibo standard blocks. The reinforcement is most conveniently done with the special Fibo bi-reinforcement, which is made of Ø 4 mm steel rods. The minimum reinforcement is one rod per meter of wall height or every four rows of Fibo Effect blocks. The reinforcement must be above the first row of blocks, below the top row of blocks, and above lintels.

For attaching Fibo Effect blocks to supporting structures, approximately 200 mm long ribbed Ø 10 mm steel reinforcement rods should be used. If the attachment joint also includes Fibo bi-reinforcement, the reinforcement of the attachment should be placed next to or staggered so that the rods do not overlap.
