Designed for supplying water to private houses, country estates, farm buildings, and summer cottages, as well as for watering fruit and vegetable gardens.
Installation:
1. Place the pump in the driest possible location, with the ambient temperature above +5°C. 2. Place the pump as close as possible to the water source. Ensure perfect sealing of pipes and connectors. 3. Loosen the priming screw and fill the pump and suction pipe with water. 4. Make sure that the power supply voltage matches what is indicated on the pump motor plate. 5. Turn on the pump.
Suction Pipe: The suction pipe should have a uniform downward slope (1°-2°) along its entire length from the pump to the water source to prevent the formation of air bubbles. The internal diameter of the suction pipe should be at least 25mm (PE pipe outer diameter ∅ 32mm) if the total length of the suction pipe does not exceed 20m, or 32mm (PE pipe outer diameter ∅ 40mm) if the length of the suction pipe is between 20m and 50m. The actual suction height of the pump under these conditions will be 6m to 8m (the longer the suction line, the lower the suction height). If the suction line is longer than 50m, contact the technical service or a qualified pump installation specialist to determine the appropriate suction pipe diameter.
Check Valve: A centrifugal pump cannot suck water on its own. Both the pump and the suction pipe must be filled with water during the initial start-up. When the pump is running, water is delivered to the consumption point. When the pump stops, water flows back through the pump to the water source. To prevent water from flowing out of the water supply system, a check valve must be installed at the end of the suction pipe.
Filter: A coarse sieve (250μm) must be installed between the water source and the pump, or at the end of the check valve, to prevent the entry of mechanical impurities into the pump.
Winter Operation: Protect the pump from freezing! The pump should be located in a room with an ambient temperature above +5°C. If there is a possibility of the water in the pump freezing, the pump should be completely drained of water. Unscrew the drain plug on the pump housing and drain the water from the pump.
Materials Used in the Pump:
• Nozzle, Venturi tube, diffuser, and impeller are made of nylon, • Pump housing is made of cast iron, • Pump shaft is made of stainless steel, • Graphite-ceramic seal is installed between the pump and the motor, • Double-sealed ball bearings with lubricant.
