Paroc BLT3 Stone Wool Insulation, 15kg

PAROC BLT3 is a non-combustible loose stone wool insulation for pitched roofs in new and existing buildings. This product makes it easy to insulate hard-to-reach areas, creating a continuous insulation layer. Stone wool insulation is dry, does not settle or shrink. It is recommended to install it mechanically using blowing equipment. The installation should be carried out by a Paroc authorized company.

Paroc BLT3 loose stone wool is made from recycled soft wool.

Stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when the temperature exceeds approximately 200°C. The thermal insulation properties remain unchanged, but the compressive strength decreases. The softening temperature for stone wool products is over 1000°C.

Mineral wool fire resistance does not decrease over time. The Euroclassification of the product is related to organic binders, which cannot increase over time. The thermal conductivity of mineral wool products does not change over time, experience shows that the fiber structure is stable and the porosity contains only atmospheric air.

Ceilings are the right place to install sound insulation, as well as additional fire and thermal insulation. Since these materials are installed so high, soft and absorbent stone wool boards and lamellas are protected from mechanical damage and provide optimal room acoustics.
