Paroc WAS 25t Ventilation Insulation Boards

The PAROC WAS 25t wind barrier plate is a non-combustible stone wool insulation for ventilated walls, attics, and floors in both new construction and renovation projects. The plate can be used as a wind barrier insulation in a two-layer insulation solution, for example, together with the elastic insulation plate PAROC eXtra. By covering the elastic insulation in a frame or between rafters with the PAROC WAS 25t plate, very good overall thermal resistance values can be achieved. The plate has a light glass fiber coating.

PAROC stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when the temperature exceeds approximately 200°C. The thermal insulation properties remain unchanged, but the compressive strength decreases. The softening temperature for stone wool products is over 1000°C.
