Penosil Internal Vapor Insulation Window Tape

Insulation tape for covering window and door joints from the inside. Provides airtightness, protects window and door joints, and prevents moisture from entering building foams and wall structures. Protection of window and door joints and building structures against moisture.

USAGE

Cut the necessary length of the tape. Remove the protective film from the adhesive strip and stick the tape to the window frame.

If the window or door is installed flush with the wall surface, leave additional space in the corners equal to the width of the tape (see diagram). If the window or door is installed inside the wall surface, leave additional space in the corners equal to half the width of the tape.

The tape is glued around the perimeter of the frame, starting from the bottom of the window. Proceed similarly on all sides of the window that need to be sealed. Then install the window or door frame in place, secure it properly, and fill the window joint with building foam. Once the foam has hardened, remove any excess foam and attach the other edge of the tape to the frame/wall. Use a soft roller for optimal adhesion.

The adhesive strips on both sides of the window tape allow for installation before or after window/door installation and the use of mounting foam.
