Attachment to battens

Use wooden battens with a size of 70-100 mm for the battens. Attach the battens with 280 mm spacing, measuring from the middle of the batten. The ends of the panels do not need to be fastened to the battens. Attach the panels to the battens with screws. Make sure the spacing between the screws is not greater than 100 mm. The length of the screws should be 10-14 mm. Always fasten the panels longitudinally to the battens. Attach the edge panel to the batten with nails or screws so that the wall panel covers it.

Panel gluing

The ceiling surface should be relatively smooth and free of dust. Small irregularities do not interfere with installation. Use construction adhesive (such as Soudal 48A) for gluing, consumption depends on the ceiling surface 150-250 ml/m2. Apply lines of adhesive approximately 30 mm from the edge of the panel on the back surface of the panel and apply adhesive dots in the middle of the panel every 200 mm. Press the panel against the ceiling, leaving a small gap with the previous panel. Then, align the panel with the previous panel to fix its projection in the groove. If possible, the panels can be additionally fastened with screws. Always follow the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer! The panels can be easily cut with a sharp carpet knife. Always cut from the decorative side. It is recommended to use a stable support (such as a metal ruler). The necessary holes can be cut with a carpet knife or an appropriate cutting tool.
