Sakret BAK-F Adhesive and Reinforcing Mortar for Thermal Insulation Boards at Reduced Temperatures 25kg

For work at reduced air temperatures from 0°C to +20°C, use stone wool and foam polystyrene insulation boards for bonding and reinforcement. On a cement base, reinforced with polypropylene fibers, with additives to improve adhesion and elasticity. Water vapor permeable. Water and frost resistant. Gray color. Application: Surface preparation. The substrate must not be covered with salt, ice, or snow, and the surface temperature must be ≥2°C. The substrate must be dry and firm, with all cracks and voids filled. Clean the substrate from less durable and/or detachable layers. Especially dense and/or smooth substrates should be treated with abrasive material. Water-absorbent surfaces should be primed with SAKRET BG or SAKRET UG primer (diluted in a ratio of 1:3). Reinforcement of insulation boards: Apply SAKRET BAK-F evenly on the insulation board (up to 5mm), spread with a notched trowel, embed the alkali-resistant reinforcing mesh, and smooth with a flat trowel so that the reinforcing mesh is completely covered with SAKRET BAK-F. If the insulation board is made of mineral wool, first rub SAKRET BAK-F into the surface of the board. Bonding of insulation boards: If the wall is smooth (unevenness <10mm/m), apply SAKRET BAK-F with a notched trowel (tooth size - 10mm) and bond the entire surface of the insulation board to the substrate. If the wall is uneven, apply SAKRET BAK-F to the edges of the insulation boards (in a width of ~5cm and a height of 2cm) and apply 6 dots of material on the board surface, then bond to the wall. If the insulation board is made of mineral wool, first rub SAKRET BAK-F into the surface of the board.
