SAKRET antifreeze additive AF, 1L

Sakret Liquid Antifreeze Additive AF; Used for work in winter conditions when the ambient and air temperature is negative. The additive is added together with water, which is intended for the preparation of concrete or mortar. After adding the additive, it is recommended to work the concrete within 30 minutes if the air temperature is positive. At negative air temperatures, the setting time will be extended. The use of the additive does not exempt from following the rules of concrete work in winter conditions. Building elements (bricks, coverings, etc.) must be cleared of ice and snow.

Surface preparation:

• We recommend performing thermal calculations for the concrete structure
• All bricks and blocks must be cleared of snow and ice before masonry
• The temperature of any foundation or formwork must be such that the concrete or construction does not freeze before reaching the critical or calculated temperature

Usage:

• Add to water intended for construction or concrete
• Winter concrete technology must be followed!
• Immediately cover the cast and masonry structures with waterproofing and thermal insulation material
