Sakret QG Quartz Primer

Sakret Quartz Ground QG Quartz sand-containing layer smooths out different absorbency of the base and strengthens adhesion. Intended for interior and exterior work. Water-based polymer dispersion without organic solvents with fillers and additives. Quartz ground with white pigmentation for smooth surfaces. For walls, ceilings, and floors, in White color. With adhesion-improving additives. For exterior and interior work. For dense, non-absorbent surfaces. Smooths and reduces water absorption. Water vapor permeable. Before applying silica decorative plaster. Reduces consumption of decorative plaster.

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be clean, durable, and dry
• Clean the base from less durable and separable layers
• Treat old / dripping surfaces with SAKRET TGW primer before using SAKRET PG
• Treat especially smooth surfaces with abrasive material

Usage:

• Mix the primer thoroughly before use
• SAKRET QG is a product containing quartz sand, intended for treatment of dense and smooth surfaces
• SAKRET QG is used to improve adhesion of construction joints and finishing materials to dense and non-absorbent surfaces (old tiles, dense concrete, old oil paint, etc.)
• Used on surfaces where mosaic decorative plaster SAKRET GAP will be applied
• When using tinted decorative plaster, we recommend tinting SAKRET QG
• Plasters can be applied after complete drying of the primer (~4h at +20°C)
• Ambient air and surface temperature during use should be from +5°C to +25°C
