TENAPORS Supra EPS 120 (Tenax) Foamed polystyrene sheets (grooved)

TENAPORS SUPRA polystyrene boards are an environmentally friendly, economical and effective thermal insulation material used in construction: for insulation of building envelope structures. It is particularly recommended in areas with high humidity: basement floors, foundations, and support structures. TENAPORS SUPRA boards are made by thermal expansion of pre-expanded polystyrene beads in an automatic molding machine. The boards can be used as insulation material for a long time at temperatures up to +80°C.

KEY FEATURES• Minimal water absorption - the boards have no cut edges, so the possibility of water absorption is minimal• High load resistance - the boards are made under high pressure, thermally expanding the polystyrene beads and thus obtaining high-density boards• Low thermal conductivity - the high density of the boards creates an optimal mass-to-volume ratio, thereby ensuring a low thermal conductivity coefficient• Minimal impact of moisture on thermal performance - the production method of the boards guarantees low water absorption for many years, thus ensuring that the thermal properties of the material do not deteriorate over time• Extremely precise dimensions - each board is made in a separate automatic molding machine, minimizing dimensional deviations• Effective edge connections - the boards are made with a half-groove connection, ensuring maximum hermeticity of the connection and guaranteeing no additional heat loss or moisture migration through the connection

By using boards with a half-groove edge connection, heat loss through the insulation board joints is significantly reduced.
