Tikkurila Ceiling Paint Fully Matt, Black

Black, completely matte ceiling paint.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Suitable for concrete, plastered, skimmed, plastered and wood fiber board surfaces according to instructions.

RECOMMENDED USE

For painting suspended ceiling communication in indoor spaces. Also adheres well to galvanized surfaces.

• Colors: Black.
• Sheen: Completely matte.
• Consumption: Skimmed and wood fiber board surfaces approx. 7-9 m²/l. Concrete and plastered surfaces approx. 3-5 m²/l.
• Application method: Roller, brush or spray. Airless spray: nozzle 0.018" - 0.023", dilution 0-10% by volume.
• Drying time: Dust does not stick after 30 minutes. Can be recoated after 1-2 hours.
• Density (kg/l): 1.4 kg/l, ISO 2811.
• Heat resistance: 85 °C, ISO 4211-3.
• Dry residue by volume (%): 33
• VOC: (cat A/a) 30g/l (2010). Maximum VOC content of ceiling paint is 30g/l.
• Storage: Protect from frost.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

The surface to be treated must be dry, air temperature above +5 °C and air relative humidity below 80%.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Unpainted surfaces: Clean new surfaces from dirt and dust. Smooth the surface with suitable filler and sand after drying. Previously painted surfaces: Wash previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu detergent and rinse thoroughly with water. Sand glossy or hard surfaces to matte and clean sanding dust. Fill gaps and holes with suitable filler and sand the surface after drying. Clean sanding dust.

PAINTING

First coat:

Before use, mix Kattomusta thoroughly and dilute with water if necessary. Apply one or two coats with a roller, brush or spray.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Wash tools with water. To clean hardened paint, it is recommended to use Tikkurila Pensselipesu tool cleaner.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Clean in a dry manner with a vacuum cleaner, soft brush or dust mop. Do not use water for cleaning.
