RECOMMENDED USE

Walls and ceilings indoors.

PRODUCT FEATURES

For indoor use. Suitable for surfaces treated with lightweight filler for wet rooms, wallpaper, glass fiber tape, etc.

• Shades: Translucent green
• Consumption: Approx. 4-6 m²/l, applying two coats, undiluted.
• Drying time: Can be touched after approx. 4 hours. Can be recoated with Luja paint after approx. 4 hours.
• Density (kg/l): Approx. 1.2 kg/l, ISO 2811
• Dry residue by volume (%): 39
• VOC: (cat A/i) 140g/l (2010). Luja Moisture Stop maximum VOC content is 140 g/l.
• Storage: Protect from frost. Cannot be stored in improperly closed or partially filled containers for a long time.

Application conditions

The surface to be painted must be dry, air temperature above +10°C, and air relative humidity below 80%.

Surface preparation

The surface must be cleaned from dirt and dust. If the surface to be treated is affected by mold, it must be carefully repaired before painting. Scrap off peeling, flaking paint. Remove vinyl wallpaper and ceramic tiles. Sand glossy painted surfaces to a matte finish. If necessary, wash the surface with Maalipesu detergent and rinse thoroughly with water. Concrete, plastered, etc. surfaces must be filled with lightweight filler for wet rooms. Sand the surface and clean off sanding dust.

Application

Before use, thoroughly mix Luja Moisture Stop. Apply Luja Moisture Stop in two coats, not more than two coats. Allow 1-4 hours between coats to dry. Paint corners and junctions with a brush. Paint the surface with Luja finishing paint approximately 4 hours after applying the second coat of moisture insulation.

Cleaning of tools

Clean the tools with water. To clean lightly hardened paint, it is recommended to use Tikkurila Pensselipesu tool cleaner.
