Application

Suitable for concrete, plastered, skimmed, brick, cardboard, fiberboard, gypsum board and wood fiber board surfaces. Use according to instructions. Also suitable for repainting previously painted surfaces.

• Building material emission class: M1
• Airless sprayer: nozzle size 0.017" - 0.021". Dilution 0-5% by volume.
• Drying time (23°C, air relative humidity 50%): Dust does not stick after 30 min. Can be recoated after 2-4 h.
• Heat resistance: 85°C, ISO 4211-3.
• Wet scrub resistance: SFS-EN 13300 class II, ISO 11998.
• Washability: With a damp cloth.
• Dry residue by volume: Approx. 35%, depending on the shade.
• Density: Approx. 1.3 kg/l, ISO 2811.
• Storage: Protect from frost.

Application conditions

The surface to be treated must be dry, air temperature at least +10°C and air relative humidity below 80%.

Preparation

Unpainted surfaces:
Remove dirt and dust from new surfaces. Smooth the surface with Presto skim coat and sand the dried surface.

Previously painted surfaces:
Wash previously painted surfaces with diluted Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with water. Sand and clean matte surfaces. Fill holes and cracks with Presto skim coat and sand the dried surface.

Painting

Before use, mix Siro Himmeä thoroughly and dilute with water if necessary. Apply in one or two coats with a roller, brush or sprayer.

Cleaning of tools

Remove excess paint from tools and wash with water. For cleaning hardened paint, it is recommended to use Tikkurila Pensselipesu tool cleaner.

Surface maintenance

Cleaning can be done no earlier than approximately 1 month after painting.

Clean the surface with a firmly squeezed damp cloth or mop and a neutral (pH 6-8) cleaning agent. Follow the instructions of the cleaning agent manufacturer when preparing the cleaning solution. After cleaning, the surface must be dried.

The product reaches its full hardness and durability in normal conditions in about one month, so during this time, handle the surfaces with care. If the surfaces need to be cleaned earlier, they can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
