Tikkurila Taika Pearl Paint

Tikkurila Taika pearl paint - Tintable, water-based acrylic paint with a pearl effect. Suitable for indoor walls, furniture, etc., when a decorative effect is desired. Can be used for initial painting or stenciling, as well as for surfaces previously painted with alkyd or catalytic paints, or lacquered surfaces. Good lighting enhances the effect. Suitable for painting indoor surfaces such as wood, fiberboard, particle board, metal, gypsum board, concrete, and similar surfaces. Consumption 6 - 8 m²/l. Drying time (23°C, relative humidity 50%) Can be touched after 1 hour. Can be recoated after 6-8 hours.

The surface to be treated must be dry, air temperature at least +10 ºC, and relative humidity below 80%. Relatively low temperature (approx. +15 ºC) and high relative humidity (50-70% RH) prevent too fast drying of the paint and facilitate work.

No earlier than 1 month after painting: Clean the surface with a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing solution and a soft brush, sponge, or cloth. Very dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a slightly alkaline (pH 8-10) cleaning solution and a cloth, brush, or sponge. Rinse the surface thoroughly with water.

After painting, handle the surfaces gently for a few weeks, as the paint reaches its final hardness and durability under normal conditions after 1 month. If the surfaces need to be cleaned sooner, clean them lightly with a soft brush, cloth, or sponge.

Follow the instructions for previously painted surfaces. If desired, decorative surfaces can be recoated with Helmi Kalustemaali paint for furniture or water-based wall paints (wall surfaces).
