Tikkurila Joker Paint for Walls and Ceilings

A solvent-free, washable, environmentally friendly, matte color that creates a silky matte surface.  For indoor painting. Suitable for painting plastered, concrete, putty, brick, cardboard, wood surfaces, as well as plasterboard, fiberboard, and particle board surfaces. Suitable for new and previously painted surfaces. Not suitable for painting doors and furniture. For painting ceilings and walls in living rooms, bedrooms, children's rooms, as well as hallways, kitchens, and other dry indoor spaces.

CONSUMPTION

Theoretical consumption: 8-12 m²/l. Recommended dry film thickness: 32-47um. Practical consumption depends on the application method, conditions, surface shape, and roughness.

APPLICATION METHOD: brush, roller, sprayer

  Application conditions:

 The surface to be painted must be dry, air temperature above +10ºC, and air relative humidity below 80%. Surface preparation:

 New surfaces: Remove dirt and dust from the surface. If necessary, smooth the surface with suitable putty knife and sand after drying. Remove sanding dust. Prime with, for example, Varma primer paint. Previously painted surfaces: Wash the surface with Seinäpesu cleaning agent. Sand glossy painted surfaces. Remove sanding dust. Fill cracks and holes with suitable putty and sand the surface after drying. Remove sanding dust. If priming is necessary, use, for example, Varma primer paint. Painting Before use, thoroughly mix Joker and, if necessary, dilute with water. Apply with brush, roller, or sprayer 1-2 times. Cleaning of tools Remove paint residues from tools and wash with water. Clean tools with water and soap. To clean lightly hardened paint, it is recommended to use Tikkurila Pensselipesu tool cleaning agent. Surface maintenance If necessary, the surface can be cleaned no earlier than approximately 1 month after painting. Clean the surface with a neutral (pH 6-8) cleaning agent and a soft sponge or cloth. Very dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a slightly alkaline (pH 8-10) cleaning agent and a cloth or sponge. Rinse the surface thoroughly after cleaning. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for preparing the cleaning solution. Handle painted surfaces gently for a few weeks, as the final hardness and durability of the paint are achieved after 1 month under normal conditions. If surfaces need to be cleaned sooner, they can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
