Tyvek Soft Diffusion Membrane with Microperforations

A diffusion membrane with microcracks. Combines the properties of multiple films: protects thermal insulation and wooden structures from water and ensures quick moisture escape from roof structures. Used in sloping insulated roofs and walls as a wind and waterproofing film. When covering with insulation, apply with the printed side facing outwards and the white side against the insulation, sealing the overlaps with Tyvek Tape. Diffusion membranes combine the properties of multiple films. They protect thermal insulation and wooden structures from water as waterproofing and at the same time protect thermal insulation from heat loss due to wind action (blowouts). Like wind insulation, they must have high water vapor permeability, which ensures easy moisture escape from roof structures.

Install tightly against the thermal insulation. If installing horizontally, create 10-15 cm overlaps. Seal the overlap areas with frost and moisture resistant adhesive tapes (such as Tyvek Tape or Gerband Outside DM Tape (386)). Create ventilation gaps above the film.
