INWOOD Fire Protect is a fire retardant used in new and reconstructed buildings - for the treatment of sawn timber (boards, planks, beams, etc.) in enclosed structures that are not exposed to direct atmospheric precipitation (indoors), which ensures the production of difficult-to-burn or difficult-to-ignite wood - a film coating is formed on the wood surface, which turns into a dry foam layer when exposed to flames and prevents the flame from reaching the wood surface. "INWOOD Fire Protect" is also used for preventive fire protection of wood, as well as for protection against decay, fungi, and wood-boring insects. It is non-toxic and does not contain polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). It does not reduce the strength of the wood.

• Operating temperature at least +5°C, relative air humidity not higher than 70%. Higher air temperature will positively affect wood impregnation;

Usage

• The moisture content of the wood before treatment should be 18%.
• Apply the "INWOOD Fire Protect" fire retardant to the wood surface with a brush, roller, or sprayer (2-4 times) with an interval between treatments of no less than 6 hours, or impregnate the wood parts using immersion in baths (containers, tanks, etc.) for 2 to 24 hours.
• The wood treatment process should be carried out outdoors or in well-ventilated areas, using protective equipment (rubber gloves, safety goggles, work clothing).

Consumption: 360-390 ml/m² (depending on the type of wood, moisture content, surface smoothness, etc.).

Storage: Store in a closed container at a temperature of +5°C to +30°C. Protect from freezing. The shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture.
