Vincents Polyline Linseed Oil

Natural, solvent-free linseed oil paint, designed for interior and exterior use. Particularly suitable for painting wooden structures, wooden facades, garden furniture, floors, as well as metal products and lime plaster. The paint has good resistance to wear, protects wood from sunlight UV rays and is highly durable. Wood treated with linseed oil paint is protected from moisture and wood damage. Wood painted with linseed oil paint retains its natural appearance and breathability.

• The working surface and ambient temperature should be at least +8°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. The ideal conditions are at 18°C - 25°C, with an air relative humidity of 45% - 65%.
• Drying time for one coat is approximately 24 hours;
• Materials used for cleaning the paint should be burned or soaked in water, as linseed oil can self-ignite when oxidized in the air.

Usage

• The wood surface should be dry and free from dirt; • Saturate (prime) the surface with Vincents Polyline linseed oil in a thick layer, heated to 70°C, applying it in the direction of the wood fibers;
• After 2 hours, remove excess unabsorbed linseed oil with a cloth. Allow to dry for approximately 24 hours;
• Thoroughly mix the linseed oil paint before use;
• Apply the paint with a brush;
• If no primer was applied, the first coat should be applied in a thicker layer;
• After 2.5-4 hours, remove excess paint with a cloth, the time depends on the type of wood and the surface;
• Allow the paint to dry for approximately 24 hours, then repeat the painting process 2-3 times;
• Apply the paint in a uniform thin layer, first applying it in the direction of the wood fibers, without covering the entire surface, then rubbing the paint into the surface perpendicular to the wood fibers, and after rubbing the paint, evenly spread the paint parallel to the wood fibers.

Consumption

1L per 10 - 14 m², depending on the wood's absorption capacity, when painting in two coats.

Storage

In a tightly closed manufacturer's container above 0°C. Keep away from fire. Shelf life is 24 months.
