Tikkurila Valtti Wood Oil - Traditional oil for protecting wooden surfaces outdoors. Protects wood from moisture and dirt, as well as reduces surface cracking. Suitable for treating garden furniture, fences, balconies, decks, handrails, stairs, doors, etc. Can be tinted. Consumption Approx. 5 - 7 m²/l. Drying time (23°C, relative humidity 50%) The surface dries in a few hours. Drying time depends on the porosity of the surface and the amount of oil used. Apply the second coat after a few hours once the surface has dried. Drying time is dependent on weather conditions. Resistance to weathering To ensure better resistance to weathering, it is recommended to use a tinted product. If necessary, touch-up painting should be done. Surfaces that are constantly exposed to the weather should be treated every year.

Storage or transportation in cold does not affect the product. Once opened, the product should be used within one working project. The properties of the product may change in partially empty containers.

After application, the surface should be handled with care for the first week to allow it to fully harden. If necessary, the surface can be cleaned with a soft brush or broom after two days. Dirty surfaces can be cleaned with Tikkurila Huoltopesu cleaning solution (1 part cleaning solution to 10 parts water). Stains and heavily soiled surfaces can be cleaned with a stronger cleaning solution (1:1). After washing, rinse the surface and allow it to dry.

If necessary, touch-up painting should be done. Surfaces exposed to constant weathering should be treated every year.
