Vivacolor CEILING 3 AP Ceiling Paint Completely Matte

Fully matte water-based paint for ceilings that levels well and creates a completely white surface. The paint has excellent coverage, does not drip or splatter. Contains a minimal amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Application method: Airless sprayer, brush, roller

Application conditions: The surface must be clean and dry, air temperature from +5 °C to +23 °C, and air relative humidity below 80%. Avoid painting in windy conditions.

Drying time (23°C, air relative humidity 50%): Can be touched after 0.50(h). Can be recoated after 2(h).

Binder: Vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE)

Unpainted surfaces: Clean the surface from dust and dirt. Smooth the surface with a suitable Vivacolor series putty knife. Sand the surface and wipe off sanding dust. Primed porous or unevenly absorbent surfaces, as well as fiberboard or cardboard surfaces, prime with water-based primer Primer 1. Prime metal surfaces with a suitable anti-corrosion primer Universal Korrostop or other suitable primer for metal. Surfaces that have been puttied with chalk putty, prime with alkyd primer Special Primer. Follow the instructions for use when using primer. Previously painted surfaces: Remove the old paint layer. Wash the surface with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water and let it dry. Sand glossy and hard surfaces to matte and wipe off sanding dust. Prime weakly bonded and dusty surfaces with alkyd primer Special Primer. Use a suitable Vivacolor series putty knife to fill cracks and holes, sand the surface and wipe off sanding dust. Dilute the paint by 10% with water for priming puttied surfaces.

Application

Before painting, thoroughly mix the Ceiling 3 paint and, if necessary, dilute with water up to 10% by volume. To achieve a uniform shade, mix a sufficient amount of tinted paint from different packages in one container. Apply 1-2 coats with a roller, brush, or airless sprayer.
