Vivacolor W Moisture-Resistant Joint Tape for Interior Work

Vivacolor interior putty tape Vivacolor W - A water-soluble, ready-to-use, lightweight, moisture-resistant putty tape. Maximum layer thickness - about 3 mm. Suitable for filling and smoothing joints, leveling concrete, brick, plasterboard and primed fiberboard surfaces, as well as filling cracks and cavities. Filling gaps, cracks and unevenness on concrete, plastered, primed fiberboard, wood, wallpaper and painted surfaces. Intended for puttying walls and ceilings in wet interiors (bathrooms, showers, toilets, etc.).

Consumption: 1 l/m2 (1mm layer)

PREPARATION

Untreated surfaces: Clean the surface from dust and dirt. Wash greasy surfaces with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water and allow to dry. Prime dusty and powdery surfaces with alkyd primer paint.

Previously painted surfaces: Clean the surface from old paint layers, dust and dirt. Wash greasy and previously painted surfaces with Special Clean detergent, rinse with water and allow to dry. Sand glossy surfaces to a matte finish and wipe off sanding dust. Prime dusty and powdery surfaces with alkyd primer paint.

APPLICATION CONDITIONSThe surface must be clean and dry, air temperature above +5 °C, and air relative humidity below 80%. Avoid drafts and high temperatures during application.

APPLICATIONApply the putty tape with a putty knife. Embed paper or fiberglass tape in cracks before puttying. If necessary, sand and wipe off the putty surface after drying. It is recommended to use eye protection and a dust mask during sanding. Apply a second layer of putty tape if necessary.

CLEANING TOOLSClean the putty tape from tools and rinse them with water.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, WORK SAFETY AND WASTE DISPOSALDo not pour the product into the sewage system, water bodies or soil. Dispose of dry and empty containers in accordance with local regulations.
