Weber .tec 911 Hydrophobic Bituminous Roof Repair Mortar with Fibres

Hydroinsulating bitumen roof repair compound with fibers. Cold-applied, plastic, UV-resistant bitumen compound with fibers and solvent additives. Designed for waterproofing and repairing local roof cover joints, cracks, and bubbles. Suitable for sealing internal and external building structures. Suitable for bitumen, metal, and all types of mineral-based substrates.

Application:

• The substrate to be treated must be firm, dry or damp, and free from substances that weaken adhesion: debris, dust, and oils. Acidic substances are formed during the oxidation process of bitumen, which have a detrimental effect on galvanized water drainage surfaces, so it is advisable to cover them during the application of Weber.tec 911.• The mastics is ready for application. In cold weather conditions, the material should be kept in a warm room before application.• Weber.tec 911 is applied with a smooth or trowel in one or more cross layers. The thickness of one layer must not exceed 4 mm, the total thickness - 10 mm. The next layer can be applied only after the first layer has dried. If the substrate is damp, Weber.tec 911 should be vigorously rubbed in to activate the adhesives in the compound faster. When applying the mastic in hot weather conditions, bubbles may form, so the material should be applied in several very thin layers to allow water and other evaporating substances to evaporate sufficiently from the waterproofing layer.• To effectively repair bubbles in local roof coverings, the bubble should be cut and the edges should be peeled. The inside of the bubble should be wiped and one layer of Weber.tec 911 should be applied. Immediately after that, the cut edges of the bubble should be tightly pressed against the adhesive layer and fixed. Once the repaired area has dried, the entire repair area should be covered with the material.
