External sewage pipe SN4 - Unplasticized PVC is a rigid material. It is characterized by high resistance to the effects of acid and alkali solutions, as well as high hardness and shape retention at elevated temperatures. Unplasticized PVC is chemically resistant to alcohols, oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons, gasoline, and many other chemically aggressive substances and compounds. Class N pipes (SN 4) have thinner walls and are recommended for installation at depths ranging from 0.8 to 6.0 m. Class S pipes (SN 8) have thicker walls and must be used for installation up to 0.8 m and deeper than 6.0 m.

Structurally, each pipe has a socket with a rubber sealing ring inserted into the inner surface groove at one end. The smooth end of the pipe is marked up to which point the pipe should be inserted into the socket during installation. This creates a 10 mm expansion gap during installation, which accommodates the expansion of the pipeline if the temperature of the wastewater increases.

N and S class PVC pipes are used for the collection and disposal of wastewater, provided that the constant temperature does not exceed +60°C. Temporary (up to 2 minutes) increase in wastewater temperature up to +100°C is permissible (at a flow rate of up to 30 l/min or 8 m/s).

Class N (SN4) sewage pipes can be installed at depths ranging from 0.8 m to 6.0 m. Measurements have shown that at this depth, the transportation load hardly affects the deformation of the pipes. Class S pipes (SN8) must be used if the pipeline is at a depth of up to 0.8 m, as well as deeper than 6.0 m.
