Weber .tec 901 Bitumen Waterproofing Emulsion

Universally applicable, highly concentrated (about 60%) bitumen waterproofing emulsion without solvents. Used as a primer under bitumen coatings. Intended for painting bitumen and metal roofs, preparing bitumen mixtures. Forms a black, glossy film. Suitable for all types of mineral substrates, bitumen and paint coatings, steel and profiled sheet metal. Must not be used on zinc and aluminum surfaces.

The substrate to be treated must be firm, dry or damp, and free from substances that weaken adhesion: dust and oils. When used as a primer, Weber.tec 901 must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10. For preparing bitumen mixtures, the emulsion should be diluted with water that will be used for mixing the mixture. Application can be done by hand using a brush, roller, or mechanical pump. When applying the emulsion mechanically, it is advisable to always dilute it with 10-20% water. Weber.tec 901 is applied in one or more cross layers. The first layer uses diluted emulsion, subsequent layers are applied in concentrated form. Do not allow puddles to form.
