Knauf K6 Fast-setting tile adhesive Schnellkleber is an industrially prepared thin-bed tile adhesive for heavily loaded, stable surfaces. Suitable for areas that need to be quickly loaded - stairs, corridors, sanitary rooms. Designed for bonding ceramic tiles, slabs, and non-transparent natural stone slabs. Suitable for walls and floors, also applicable for underfloor heating. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Grouting can be done after 4 hours for wall and floor tiles. Fast-setting high-quality cement-based tile adhesive (complies with LVS EN 12004 requirements). The ready-to-use dry mixture must be mixed with water before use.

The substrate must be smooth, hard, unfrozen, free of dust, paint, and oil residues. If the surface is plastered with tiles, the plaster must be at least 10 mm thick, in one layer, and must not be smoothed.

Application: First, apply the mixed adhesive to the entire prepared surface with a trowel or putty knife to the desired thickness. Then, holding the trowel at a 90° angle, comb it with a suitable notched trowel (the notch size should match the size of the tiles). Press the tiles firmly and with a gentle twisting motion. If a film forms (check with your finger!), apply the adhesive again. The setting and correction time depends on the substrate and the tiles' absorption capacity, as well as the air temperature. Grouting can only be done after the adhesive has hardened - after 4 hours for wall and floor tiles. The underfloor heating system must be turned on to the maximum temperature mode for at least 24 hours before tiling begins. Before tiling, it must be turned off and cooled down. Full heating can be turned on no earlier than 28 days after tiling. Attention! The larger the tiles and the lower their water absorption capacity, the slower the adhesive dries.
