Aeroc Hard Gas Concrete Blocks are analogs of AEROC Classic blocks. The differences lie in compressive strength and block density indicators. AEROC Hard blocks are made of gas concrete with a dry density of 575 kg/m³ and a compressive strength of fb=5.0 N/mm². Compliance and shape - AEROC Hard blocks are category 1 blocks that meet the requirements of the harmonized standard and have the EU marking. Block application - AEROC Hard blocks have the highest compressive strength in the entire AEROC product range and are ideally suited for wall construction with increased load-bearing requirements. AEROC Hard blocks can also be used in basement wall construction. There are often situations where wall blocks require increased compressive strength. If the compressive strength of AEROC Classic blocks is insufficient, using AEROC Hard blocks of the same size can be an optimal solution. When using AEROC Hard blocks in external wall construction, additional insulation will be required. On the other hand, Hard150mm blocks are used for the construction of load-bearing partition walls as well as for the creation of 60 dB soundproof multi-layer walls. Masonry - The blocks are glued together, which is possible due to their smooth surface and precise dimensions. The adhesive joint eliminates the possibility of thermal bridging, ensures airtightness, and makes the wall much more durable. AEROC Hard blocks are masoned using AEROC block adhesive, which has a compressive strength limit of ? 10N/mm². Horizontal joints must be carefully filled with adhesive, and the joint thickness should not be less than 1mm but not more than 3mm. At least one block in each vertical joint must have a side groove. To ensure airtightness of the joints, vertical joints should be filled with AEROC adhesive after each row of blocks is masoned. Packaging and transportation - The blocks are transported on wooden pallets measuring 1m x 1.2m. To protect the blocks from the effects of weather conditions, the products are packed in opaque thermoplastic film.
