KNAUF moisture resistant Plasterboard (Drywall)

Knauf GREEN (GKBI) is an impregnated plasterboard panel - It is recommended to use moisture-resistant Knauf plasterboard panels with a green cardboard coating in rooms with high air humidity and water exposure, such as bathrooms, shower rooms, separate kitchen areas, hallways, and window sills. The composition of the panels inhibits the absorption of moisture and has special resistance to mold.

Note:

• If the surface is intended for tiling, it is recommended to reduce the distance between the studs to 40 cm or use two layers of panels for a more stable wall construction.
• In areas with direct water exposure, such as shower rooms, it is necessary to use additional waterproofing with Knauf Flächendicht.
• For joint filling of plasterboard panels in rooms with high humidity, use Knauf Uniflott imprägniert.
• Before tiling, if waterproofing is not used, the surface should be primed with Knauf Tiefengrund.
• When using Knauf GREEN for ceilings, it is recommended to reduce the spacing between the profiles.
