ISOVER EXTREME 31 has the highest heat resistance against all soft mineral wools. ISOVER EXTREME 31 insulation sheets have over 19% better heat retention than the most common mineral wool in Europe with a lambda class of 37. ISOVER EXTREME 31 is an insulation batt without a covering. EXTREME 31 is made of inorganic and chemically neutral material without corrosive components. ISOVER EXTREME 31 is a non-combustible product without aroma and does not provide a favorable environment for mold growth. It complies with the M1 class for construction waste. ISOVER EXTREME 31 is mainly intended for insulating ventilated foundations, exterior walls, roofs, and attic covers where thinner or more effective thermal insulation is required. The material is suitable for insulating wood, metal, brick, and concrete structures. ISOVER EXTREME 31 insulation batts can be installed between metal or wood frame posts without additional reinforcement. It is important to ensure that the thermal insulation fills the entire intended space and gaps. The batts should be installed in the frame so that the thermal insulation is approximately 5mm wider than the filling space. For wood frame structures with posts of thickness 45-50mm and spaced at intervals of 600mm, insulation with a width of 560mm is suitable. For metal frame structures with posts spaced at intervals of 600mm, insulation with a width of 610mm is suitable. It can also be installed in structures without frame posts, such as ventilated facades where the external cladding is attached to L-shaped and T-shaped metal elements.
