For leveling rough and uneven surfaces, finishing and preparing concrete and plaster surfaces before painting.

Application process

The substrate must be dry, stable, clean, free from dust, loose parts and residues, water-permeable, not frozen and resistant to outdoor conditions. Concrete surfaces without formwork oil and residue. Can be used on all mineral substrates such as concrete, lime-cement plaster. Substrates with different or strong absorption capacity are treated with Knauf Tiefengrund or Knauf Stucprimer, concrete surfaces are primed with Knauf Haftemulsion.

Mix Knauf Finishspachtel with clean water (25kg + approx. 7.5 l) and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Let it rest for 5 minutes and mix again. The amount of water depends on the desired consistency for the application. Mixing can be done by hand or with a slow rotating mixer. The mixed mass should be free of lumps and uniform. Apply the mass on the substrate in the required thickness with a trowel or spatula. Sand after hardening. The mixed material can be used for approximately 2-3 hours. The air and substrate temperature during application should be above +5 °C. The hardening time depends on the thickness of the layer, substrate and weather conditions.
