Knauf K3 floor tile adhesive Boden Profi is an industrially prepared thin and medium layer tile adhesive - for large size floor tiles, water-absorbing and non-absorbing tiles, non-oily and non-transparent natural stone slabs. For balconies and terraces. Also suitable for heated floors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Grouting can be done no earlier than 1 day. Elastic, quick-setting high-quality tile adhesive based on cement with extended setting time (complies with LVS EN 12004 requirements). The ready-to-use dry mixture must be mixed with water before use.

The substrate must be smooth, hard, unfrozen, free of dust, paint, and oil residues.

Application: First, apply the mixed adhesive with a trowel or putty knife to the entire prepared surface in the appropriate layer thickness. Then, holding the trowel at a 90° angle, comb it with a suitable notched trowel (the size of the notch should match the size of the tiles). Press the tiles firmly and with a slight twisting motion. If a film forms (check with your finger!), apply the adhesive again. The installation and correction time depends on the substrate and the tiles' absorption capacity, as well as the air temperature. Grouting can only be done after the adhesive has hardened - after 1 day.

The underfloor heating system must be turned on in the maximum temperature mode for at least 24 hours before starting tiling. Before tiling, it must be turned off and cooled down. Full heating can be turned on no earlier than 28 days after tiling. Attention! The larger the tiles and the lower their water absorption capacity, the slower the adhesive dries.
