The BASA3 from scheppach is the band saw for ambitious do-it-yourselfers with larger projects who want to saw a wide variety of materials such as hardwood and softwood up to 205 mm high, but also plastic or aluminum. For low workpieces that do not require the maximum passage height of 205 mm, the upper saw band guide, which is height-adjustable via a rack, ensures more precision and safety.

The workpiece is fed to the saw blade via the stable gray cast iron work table. For precise ripping cuts, the rip fence with magnifying glass is used either to the left or to the right of the saw band using the quick lock. Bevel cuts can be made using the supplied cross cutting gauge.
